Stevie and Lucy

Stevie and Lucy began class by showing me their art activities they had completed at home in their sketchbooks. I was so proud of both of them for bringing their sketchbooks to class. I took pics of their drawings – they had to color an ocean and sky. I think they did a marvelous job….

Channing

Channing was my first student today. We started class by coloring in her sketchbook. We decided to draw and color bumble bees. Not sure why, but then again, it is Channing. After the bumble bees, we studied Chihuly – the glass blower. We looked at several of his huge bowls. Channing liked the pink ones….

Scarlett

Scarlett came to the studio today for her 2nd lesson. She remembered the painting – “Tiger in a Thunderstorm” by Rousseau. We reviewed stripes and pattern. Scarlett painted her Jazzy Jungle Cat and some flowers to add to her jungle. We pretty much had glitter watercolor paint everywhere! Next week we will put Scarlett’s jungle…

Sara Jane and Gigi – bestest friends!
