First I want to apologize for not getting a picture of the girls. We got so busy, I totally forgot to get a picture. I had my camera ready to go then we dove into the project. Imagine that! I introduced the project – Jazzy Jungle cat to the girls. We looked at Rousseau’s painting – “Tiger In a Thunderstorm.” The girls drew their cats then they started decorating their cats with a pattern of shapes. We discussed “patterns.” The girls first drew with a pencil then a Sharpie. We reviewed the five basic shapes. Next week we will start painting their cats with India ink. Stay tuned next week for more Jazzy Jungle Cat WITH PHOTOS!
