Trey came on into class informing me immediately of the family vacation review. Sharks, starfish, a conch, boats and more. He had a prolifera of beach stories for me. Even a conch that was edible. I commented that I would not be eating a conch. Trey agreed with me with a squished up yucky face. It was amazing! I mean VERY AMAZING! Trey talked 90 mph! He slowed down every once in a while for a breath. Finally we started on his sketch book. We did a background on one page then I explained to him the assignment about being “Independent.” Then all the sudden Mr. C came into the studio. A little late but better than not at all. They immediately gave each other big hugs. These little men are truly best friends. After the greetings we started on their projects. Mr. C. is working on an Animalito dolphin and Trey, his self portrait. Mr. C immediately told us he had seen a Corvette. Mr. C. is our car reporter. The hour flies by when I have 2 very gregarious young artists. Trey and Mr. C caught up on all their life stories since they had seen each other last. That was a lot of information! Stay tuned!
