I got up early this morning, as I usually do - around 5:00. I get my French press going with very very strong coffee. Why drink coffee if it isn’t strong? Anyway, I always turn on my studio lights to look at my most recent painting of all my paintings. Got that? I noticed that the center part of 2 prickly pears are way too small. Yikes. I spent a couple of hours working on them. I didn’t step back and look at the proportions. You’ll note my adjustments. Now a lot of artists wouldn’t show you their mistakes. But I make a lot of them, so why hide them. I do my share of scraping off. So I picked up my one of my handy dandy palette knives and scraped off the built up paint and slightly outlined my adjustment. So there you see my re-do. I’ll finish the re-do this morning. Enjoy and stay tuned.
